Facts & Stats for Heritage

Heritage is the largest non-denominational Christian school of its kind in the state of Wisconsin.

Founded in 1973, Heritage Christian Schools, Inc. (HCS) is a co-educational, PK-12 program, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

HCS operates as a non-stock, non-profit corporation under Sec. 501(c)3.

HCS is an independent Christian school with a self-perpetuating board of directors.

• Over 70 qualified teachers, administrators and staff members

• Member of the Midwest Classic Conference

• Member of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA)

• General, College Prep, and A.P. (advanced placement) courses available

• Full offering of extracurricular activities including, athletics, National Honor Society, vocal and instrumental ensembles, Lego League, community volunteer opportunities, drama, Boy Scouts and more!

• College Prep: HCHS provides Honors and Advanced Placement courses — that encourages academic and personal discipline. Our goal is to educate students in broad academic disciplines to best prepare them for attending top colleges and universities. Over 90% of our graduating seniors attend four-year colleges and universities, and vocational programs. Many students graduate with SAT scores well above the national average. With consistent instruction and support, students of varying abilities are challenged to realize their potential and find success.

• Accredited: We are accredited by ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International. The standards of ACSI require Heritage to seek excellence in all areas, including ... staff credentials, classroom instruction, institutional operations, library, fine arts, and technology. The mark of approval by these accrediting organizations states that Heritage is recognized by its peers as both a quality academic institution and Christ-centered organization.
